Growing Orchids Step by Step

Step 1. Learn the “10 Rules of Thumb for Basic Orchid Care” tips on water and fertilizing, proper placement and how to make good orchid choices for your growing environment.

Step 2. Learn to evaluate the health of an orchid, repotting, dividing and proper root grooming. I will demonstrate method and techniques. You may bring a smallish plant that might be used for a demo.

Step 3. So you have a handle on watering and repotting. Now let’s bump it up a notch. Back cutting, bare rooting, mounting and the specifics of species.

Complete growing supplies and plants will be available for purchase at each class. Classes are $10 each or $25 to attend any or all of the 2007 schedule. Trust me, you can’t stop at one. Classes are a lot of fun and very interactive.
